A few months ago I took a quick trip to visit my college roommate in San Francisco, CA. Ahra and I met our first week at PIT and have been inseparable ever since! It was a sad day when Ahra moved across the country to the West Coast. But, now I have an excuse to travel!
Ahra was an amazing tour guide, barely letting me rest the entire time I was there. During my three day trip, we toured Alcatraz, ventured into downtown San Francisco and walked around the Embarcadero. We also drove up to Half Moon Bay, eating at some amazing restaurants and cafes along the way.
On my final day in the city, we met up with some friends from Pittsburgh for brunch, which included an impromptu mini family session! San Francisco is such a fun and vibrant city, even though we were non-stop for three days I still feel like there was so much that I had yet to see and explore! I can’t wait for my next trip back to the West Coast. I was born and raised in Southern California, and even though I call Pittsburgh my home, I will always be a California girl at heart.
