Lisa and Justin’s beautiful Lenape Heights Golf Resort Wedding was such a special event! Lisa and Justin have known each other since grade school, growing up in the same small town and attending the same church every Sunday.

From the Groom –

“We grew up in the same small town, but our lives took different paths. After grade school, we never were in the same school nor talked to each other much. However, we would always see each other on Sundays, since our families went to the same church. It’s funny looking back on it now, and how she always caught my eye.

We went to different colleges, but they were still only 20 minutes apart. This lead to a couple of chance encounters in Morgantown where we got to hang out and have a few good laughs together. After college, we both moved home. That is when it all began. We started to talk more, and eventually went out on a couple dates. In June of 2010, we went to our first Pirate’s game and the rest has been history.

After that day, we enjoyed every second together and had endless laughs. From watching her brother play football to rescuing a litter of kittens, I fell over and over for her compassionate and caring soul. In 2012, we made a jump and moved to Pittsburgh to start a new path together. I started a new job, and she went back to school. We were both busy with school and work, but always made time for each other.

After a few years in Pittsburgh, we realized there was so much to do here that we need to make a Pittsburgh bucket list. A few things topped the list: the incline and skating at PPG Place. As we talked about it, I could image the night. First, we would go to where it all began; a Pirate’s game. After the Pirate’s game, we would go to the Duquesne Incline. On the way back down the Incline, I asked her what other things on the bucket list she wanted to do. This is when the next chapter started. I told her I had another thing on my bucket list, and that’s when I popped the question. I always knew she was the one, and I’m so grateful to get to spend the rest of my life with this beautiful girl.”
