I was so happy to capture this family photography session at Hartwood Acres Pittsburgh. Lately, I have not been able to take on many family photography sessions due to my heavy wedding workload this year. So, when the Williams family came to me needing photos for their holiday cards, it was perfect timing! I had just finished wrapping up a few weddings as my season was winding down, so it was fate that their inquiry came in when it did. I absolutely love photographing family sessions – slowing down, pausing, and capturing life as it is for your family in that moment – snapping an image to create a memory that will last forever. It is why I continue to do what I do, loving every minute of it! 

The Williams family could not have been more amazing to work with! Kimber had every detail planned out, down to their amazing outfits, beautiful fur throw blanket, and her daughter’s ADORABLE shoes! Also…did I mention they brought their puppies??!! Everything is better with puppies!! It was so cold out during our session but these three rocked it, making it seem like it was a warm fall day. Hartwood Acres is one of my favorite spots, and capturing the last hints of fall on a beautiful Pittsburgh day – it truly could not have been more perfect!
