Allie and Michael chose to do their engagement session in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, as it’s a special city – it’s where they got engaged and are currently living. Allie and Michael wanted to capture the memories of this old and fabulous city before they moved on to a new adventure and chapter in their lives…Pittsburgh!! Yes, Allie and Michael are in the process of moving to the Burgh, and I am so excited for their wedding next year! These two are truly the sweetest and kindest people you will ever meet, and I had so much fun spending the afternoon walking around Old Town Alexandria with them, their adorable puppy Mildred (Millie)…and my husband in tow! I will say, my husband is an excellent assistant and film loader, think I can convince him to shoot weddings with me too?? I love traveling for weddings and sessions, and it is a perk when I get to bring my hubby along with me, which does not happen often! Millie was also a really great sport, hanging out with Mom and Dad while we took photos of all three of them. I absolutely LOVE DOGS, so having them at any session is always ok with me!
