This Duquesne University engagement photography session was everything and much more! Shannon and Ryan met at Duquesne during their sophomore year, so it was fitting that we returned to their alma mater for the shoot. Ryan was in a fraternity and Shannon was in a sorority, so of course they were bound to meet! Soon after becoming friends they quickly became more! 

Ryan proposed to Shannon while they were on a cruise in Key West celebrating the completion of Shannon’s degree. Ryan woke Shannon up at sunrise so that we could get down on one knee and pop the question.  Of course she said yes! I absolute loved working with these two and their chemistry is undeniable! The light was hitting just right and their smiles were glowing from ear to ear. Talk about a photographer’s dream! Additionally, I love taking photos in spots that mean so much to the couple. And this Duquesne University engagement photography session was exactly that.

I am so excited to photograph their wedding next May at the The Grand Estate at Hidden Acres. But until then, I’ll leave you with these pretty images of their day!
