Private estate weddings are some of my favorites for quite a few reasons. Often times, the property holds a special meaning to the couple which plays a role in the design and storytelling of the day. A tent allows for a completely blank canvas which results in incredibly bold and unique layouts, while incorporating the surrounding environment. Read on to learn about this Pittsburgh fall tented wedding on the family’s private estate.
The bride and groom got ready at the bride’s family home in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She wore a designer gown from Bridal Beginnings and he wore a tux from Jos A. Bank. Guests arrived at St. Catherine of Sweden Church for a traditional ceremony, followed by portraits taken outdoors on the family’s private estate.
Cocktail hour provided a luxury, organic display of charcuterie that perfectly complimented the changing leaves of fall. This encouraged guests to mingle before they were ushered into a gorgeous sailcloth tent dripping in florals artfully arranged by Wild Botanical. Escort cards and place settings continued in the terracotta theme, along with a hand painted cake on display in the middle of the dance floor. What an incredible Pittsburgh fall tented wedding. Check out the amazing vendors who made this day truly remarkable!
